‘Lurer’ asked Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia Andrea Wiktorin to comment on the actions of the Azerbaijani servicemen deployed on a section of the Goris-Kapan highway, who stopped the bus of teenagers heading from Artsakh to Armenia yesterday.
The ambassador once again stressed EU’s readiness to support the resumption of the negotiation process.
“I think it is very important to find a lasting solution, return to the negotiation table and stop endangering citizens with various incidents. The EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia recently visited Armenia, and we discussed these very topics with the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.
We stressed that EU is ready to support, facilitate the process of returning to the negotiation table, because peace is really important for the whole region. And for that, the reduction of aggression and hate speech is important,” said the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia.
