About immeasurable strength and willpower... Maral Najarian, Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) resident from Lebanon who spent four months as an Azerbaijani prisoner of war, repatriated to Armenia, the Diaspora High Commissioner’s Office reports.
Ms. Najarian visited Armenia’s High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan and the Office’s Head of Repatriation Hovhannes Aleksanyan yesterday, where she described her experience in an Azerbaijani prison, how she was released, as well as her current state of health and how our Office can be of assistance with finding work in Armenia.
“Maral’s experience and her unwavering patriotism make her an exemplary figure for the global Armenian community,” the statement of the Diaspora High Commissioner’s Office reads.
