On September 11, in Sarigyugh community of Tavush province, the unveiling ceremony of the monuments dedicated to the memory of those who died in the Great Patriotic War as well as in the first and second Artsakh wars took place. The Facebook page of Tavush Administrative Region, RA, informs about this.
The memorial stones were placed on the initiative of Gagik Hakhverdyan, a resident of the community, in the area of the monument to the soldiers who died for the Homeland.
Tavush Governor Hayk Ghalumyan, Ijevan Acting Mayor Artur Tchagharyan, other officials, parents and friends of the dead boys, attended the event.
Those present bowed and laid flowers at the memorials to the memory of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the Homeland. Then an event dedicated to the memory of the freedom fighters who died heroically in the Artsakh war took place.
