Rustam Badasyan, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia hosted Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Armenia John Gallagher.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee acquainted the Ambassador with the tax and customs reforms implemented by the Committee, the existing programs, and presented the scope of cooperation between the State Revenue Committee and foreign and international structures. He paid special attention to the work carried out by the Committee in cooperation with the Good Governance Fund of the United Kingdom Government.
Badasyan highlighted the support of the British Fund to the SRC programs, expressed hope that the effective cooperation will continue in the future, during the SRC-initiated customs and tax reforms.
The Ambassador also stressed the importance of the planned reforms and their positive impact on the Armenian economy.
A number of other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting held in a friendly atmosphere.
