On September 5, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission, Armenian Ambassador to Iraq Hrachya Poladian met with Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein.
Foreign Minister Hussein thanked Ambassador Poladian for the effective work done, wished success in further diplomatic service, underlined the efforts of Ambassador Hrachya Poladian, the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in Erbil, the Armenian House of Culture, a number of bilateral visits, as well as the fruitful work in bilateral relations in the context of development.
Ambassador Poladian thanked for the warm reception, words of appreciation, and took the opportunity to congratulate him on the occasion of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership held in Baghdad on August 28 on the initiative of the Iraqi Government.
At the end of the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein spoke positively about the Armenians, noting that the Armenians are a valued people in Iraq and are always in safe hands.
