The National Security Service (NSS) of the Republic of Armenia informs that the border guards of the NSS of the Republic of Armenia and the border guards of the Russian Federal Security Service are holding negotiations with the Azerbaijani side on reopening the Goris-Vorotan-Shurnukh-Karmrakar sections of the Goris-Kapan interstate road closed on August 26.
The NSS informs that the State Border Guard Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan provided information to the Armenian side that one of their guides was attacked.
Currently, the RA NSS border troops are carrying out operative-investigative measures on the information provided by the Azerbaijani side.
The work on reopening the road continues.
