Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan congratulated the newly appointed Iranian Foreign Minister on his Twitter account.
"I cordially congratulate and send my best wishes to Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on his appointment as the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
I am certain that together we will make maximum efforts to develop and deepen the Armenian-Iranian relations based on the centuries-old friendship", wrote Ararat Mirzoyan.
