Based on the rapid information provided by the Police of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabagh), the National Security Service and because of our citizens’ vigilance, on August 25, in one of the apartments on Teryan Street in the city of Martakert of the Republic of Artsakh, a serviceman of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, Jamil Babayev, was located.
On the same day he was taken to the National Security Service of the Republic of Artsakh.
A criminal case was filed on the charges of illegal crossing of the state border with the Republic of Artsakh, as well as for threatening to murder the underage residents of the same apartment, and in connection with criminal activities linked to espionage.
Jamil Babayev is arrested. The investigation is underway.
