The government's program is designed to provide the essential secure environment for Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabagh), said the Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on State and Legal Issues, Vladimir Vardanyan.
"Yes, the security has become much more important for us.
Perhaps this was always important, but we did not consider it vital.
At the same time, security is not only the external one. The security is multi-layered. internal, external, economic, environmental, legal, etc.
I thought that the discussion of the government's program would be more meaningful.
In particular, when we mentioned, for example, the agenda of constitutional reforms, I thought our colleagues from Dashnaktsutyun (Armenian Revolutionary Federation-ARF), at least, should have asked questions about models of governance, their specifics, and about the way we should choose.
Everyone knows that this political power has been fighting for the approval of parliamentary rule for many years.
It would have been very interesting and meaningful if the questions were asked to the future, and not to the past", said Vardanyan.
