The European Championship of junior boxing in Bosnia and Herzegovina finished. It stood out with a brilliant result for Armenian boxing, even Boxing Federation of Europe referred to it.
10 of our 17 athletes led by coaches Artur Melkumyan, Armen Baghdasaryan, Hovhannes Sharbatyan, went to the platform of honour.
Spartak Nahapetyan (50kg) representing Shirak province, Andranik Martirosyan (57kg) , student of Sevan Sports Union defeated all of their opponents and stood on the highest level of platform of honor. Moreover, Spartak Nahapetyan defeated his opponent with knockout.
Vazgen Qarhanyan (48kg), Argishti Hakobyan (63 kg), Davit Nikoghosyan (75kg) won silver medals. Vahagn Galstyan (42kg), Lyova Kirakosyan (70kg), Karen Petrosyan (80kg), Viktoria Zaqaryan (38kg) and Heghine Petrosyan (42kg) stood on the 3rd level of the platform of honor.
