Israeli Air Forces hit the military facilities in Damascus from Lebanon’s airspace. Syrian air defense systems destroyed some of the missiles.
This is reported by the State Agency SANA, referring to a military source.
"The Syrian air defense averted the attack in the sky over Damascus and hit most of the missiles," says the report.
Israeli military aircrafts also struck targets near the city of Homs, located 165 kilometers from Damascus.
Israeli Defense Forces refrained from commenting the media reports about the attack on ground targets in Syria.
