Valentina Matviyenko, the chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation (RF) Federal Assembly congratulated Alen Simonyan on being elected as the President of the Parliament.
She expressed confidence that the development and reinforcement of the Russian-Armenian dialogue will contribute to the expansion of bilateral ties, as well as the joint efforts of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) state members to provide sustainable economic growth and improve the quality of life of citizens.
He expressed hope that with the active support of the newly elected NA Speaker the, inter-parliamentary relations between Russia and Armenia will promote the implementation of joint programs in different spheres of cooperation, the strengthening of the positions of the two countries on international platforms.
