By the decision of Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan, the "Erebuni-Yerevan" celebrations planned for October will not be held.
The press secretary of Yerevan Mayor Hakob Karapetyan wrote this on his Facebook page.
The financial resources provided by Yerevan budget for "Erebuni-Yerevan" in 2021, will be used to fund "100 houses in Artsakh" program, as well as the ones aiming at development of cultural institutions in Yerevan.
In particular, funds will be allocated for the modernization of "Erebuni" historical and archaeological museum-reserve and the Museum of the History of Yerevan, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary.
