Ross Wilson, the US Chargé d'Affaires in Afghanistan, stated that he and the workers of the US Embassy in Kabul are still at the capital of Afghanistan.
"Despite the false information, I and the embassy staff, remain in Kabul, working hard to help thousands of US citizens and vulnerable Afghans, continuing our work here. "Our commitment to the people of Afghanistan remains in place", Ross wrote on his Twitter account.
