Armen Grigoryan and Francisco Bustillo, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Uruguay performed with a mutual announcement.
According to Grigoryan, this visit reaffirms Armenia’s and Uruguay’s warm relationships and strong friendship.
“Next year Armenia and Uruguay will celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relationships. In that context, today we had a conversation about the past achievements, present possibilities and future perspectives. Our traditional cooperation with Uruguay, Armenian-Uruguayan national connection has its history”, said Grigoryan.
The Foreign Minister of Armenia reminded that Uruguay was the first state to recognize Armenian Genocide in 1965, reaffirming its reputation of the advocate of universal values and people’s rights.
