30 years ago, on August 14, the treaty on international relations was signed between the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Armenia. This is reported by the Facebook page of the Lithuanian Embassy in Armenia.
"We are proud that Lithuania was the first country in the world to recognize the independence of Armenia. We were together in our fight for freedom, and today we are bound by the common values of democracy and the rule of law", says the Embassy statement.
