Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense released a report stating that on August 13, at about 02:30 local time, units of Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Defense Army opened fire with small arms towards the villages of Yukhari Veysal and Sghnakh, as well as in the direction of the Azerbaijani positions near Shushi.
According to the Armenian side, this report does not reflect the reality.
Obviously, Azerbaijani side is preparing grounds for further provocative actions through such false reports.
Defense Army Units are strictly observing the ceasefire regime and take retaliatory steps solely for the purpose of countering Azerbaijani provocations.
