The mandate received from our people to open a peaceful era for the development of Armenia, Artsakh and the region puts a special responsibility on the Government, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced at the beginning of the Government session.
“In order to solve this problem, we must be as active and flexible as possible. Our mood and intention should be the following – to do the best to settle the issues taking into account the current problems on the agenda. Of course, there are issues that can be resolved faster, there are issues that take longer to resolve. One of such issues, which can be resolved quite quickly, is the opening of regional communications, regional unblocking agendas. And I believe that we must resume the works within the trilateral format of the deputy prime ministers as soon as possible and be maximum active and pushing in terms of implementing new communication and economic opportunities in the region,” Pashinyan said.
According to the Prime Minister, Armenia’s position on the demarcation and delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is unchanged.
“We think that the work in this direction should be intensified,” Pashinyan stated.
