The wildfires that broke out in the mountainous area of the Lankaran region has been extinguished, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement.
The wildfire was reported on 3 August. The fire was extinguished by the personnel of the units of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a helicopter of the aviation detachment, as well as employees of the forestry center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and local residents.
It is reported that it has not yet been possible to localize the fire that broke out on August 2 in the Yardimli region.
