Eight people have been killed and two others are missing in floods in three parts of Iran, and search and rescue operations are underway. The official representative of the Red Crescent in Iran stated, RIA Novosti reports.
A total of 978 people were rescued, three of whom were taken to hospital for treatment.
The floods in Iran have been going on for a week.
