On August 3 Armenian Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan and Sergey Kopyrkin, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Russian Federation in Armenian Republic had a meeting in administrative complex of Defense Ministry, discussing the end of military-diplomacy mission of the Russian Federation embassy’s military attaché in Armenia and new attaché’s appointment.
Russian ambassador congratulated Armenian Defense Minister on undertaking high state position.
In his turn, Armenian Republic’s minister of defense congratulated Russian Federation’s newly appointed attaché in Armenia colonel Igor Sherbakov and wished luck on further mission in Armenia.
Arshak Karapetyan thanked Colonel Andrey Grishuk for carrying out active and efficient work in the direction of strengthening Armenia-Russia military and military-technical partnership during his post.
During the meeting wide range of military and political-military bilateral partnership was discussed, the conversation included issues of mutual interest; opinions were exchanged on regional security issues.
Sides appreciated highly the process of Armenia-Russia allied cooperation and political dialogue, including the efficient cooperation in defense field.
