U.S. Embassy facilitated a meeting with local organizations working to combat trafficking in persons to discuss their efforts and ways to maximize their effectiveness. This is stated in the message of the US Embassy to Armenia.
The U.S. government is committed to fighting labor and sex trafficking worldwide and recently launched a $950,000 three-year anti-trafficking project in Armenia.
