Armenia will assume the chairmanship of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on September 16, Chairman of the standing committee on foreign affairs of the 7th convocation parliament Ruben Rubinyan said on Public TV during the interview with ‘Lurer’.
“Armenia will assume the CSTO chairmanship on September 16 this year, with all consequences deriving from this,” Rubinyan said.
Rubinyan noted that CSTO should respond accordingly to the situation.
“The international community must respond appropriately to these actions of Azerbaijan, which is trying to blow up regional stability. After the actions of May 12, there is a process in the CSTO, and we will continue to use the toolkit available to us.
“We think that the CSTO should respond accordingly to these situations, because it is the CSTO’s obligation,” Rubinyan added.
