The Artsakh conflict is not resolved, the issue of Artsakh's status remains open. The chairman of Armenia’s Parliament Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Ruben Rubinyan said this in an interview with ‘Lurer’.
“We fully welcome the call of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, as well as Russia, the United States and France, to resume talks. We have the same position with them in the sense that the Artsakh conflict is not resolved, the issue of Artsakh's status remains open, negotiations must take place on it. Azerbaijan's claims that the conflict is over are absurd. If the conflict is over, why are there peacekeepers in Artsakh? There are peacekeepers when there is a conflict that is not over,” Rubinyan said.
Moreover, Rubinyan stressed that there are peacekeepers there with the signature and agreement of Azerbaijan, “hence, they have fixed that this is a ceasefire, and the issue of Artsakh's status remains open.”
