As part of a planned combat training session, Russian peacekeepers conducted a training on preventing possible violations and ensuring security at an observation post in the locality of Srhavend in the Martakert district of Nagorno-Karabakh.
During the training at the training points, the officers of the peacekeeping contingent management clearly demonstrated to the servicemen new tactical actions when leaving the location, loading on equipment, maneuvering to the specified line using various covers on the ground, as well as when blocking a conditional violator.
At one of the training points, the commanders of the units were shown the practical actions of the peacekeepers to prevent violations and a possible attack on the post, using imitation means.
"There are points at six training places and at each training place. In principle, the entire range of tasks performed by personnel at observation posts in Nagorno-Karabakh is covered. From getting weapons to cooking and placing personnel. The final stage of this lesson is a comprehensive training on practical actions of personnel, issues of maintaining combat readiness," said Yevgeny Stepanov, the head of the training with Russian peacekeepers at the observation post in the Martakert district of Nagorno-Karabakh.
Military personnel of the Russian peacekeeping continent continue to perform tasks to monitor compliance with the ceasefire and ensure the safety of motor transport, transportation of food and various goods along the Lachin corridor.
All observation posts of the Russian peacekeeping contingent are equipped with Blockpost fortifications designed to protect military personnel from small arms and shrapnel, as well as to conduct circular surveillance of the nearby territory.
In addition to monitoring the situation in the area of responsibility, the personnel of the observation posts of the Russian peacekeeping contingent regularly carries out combat training activities and conducts drills.
