Another skirmish took place on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
According to the information received, the residents of the border village of Tajikistan, without the consent of the Kyrgyz side, today “carried out work to clear the area of sand.” Kyrgyz border guards, local government officials and locals arrived at the scene. The Tajiks did not comply with the demand of the Kyrgyz side to stop the work.
The parties first argued then it turned into a fight, during which stones were thrown in each other's direction. It is mentioned that a shootout started after that.
