During a search operation in the Varanda region, Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) on July 23, rescuers found and evacuated the remains of four servicemen (volunteers, reservists) who were considered missing during the battles.
Their identity will be confirmed in Armenia after a forensic medical examination.
From November 13, 2020 to July 23, 2021, a total of 1615 bodies were evacuated from the occupied territories of Artsakh under the control of Azerbaijan.
The State Service of Emergency Situations will provide additional information on the results of the upcoming search directions.
