Turkey handed over maintenance vehicles to the Georgian Ministry of Defense, Defense Ministry reports.
According to the ministry, the Minister of Defense of Georgia Guanshir Purcholadze, the commander of the defense forces, Major General Giorgi Matiashvili, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Georgia Fatima Gran Yazgan attended the official event for the transfer of technical equipment at the automobile base in Orkhevi.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the government of the Republic of Turkey handed over to the Georgian Defense Forces four units of maintenance vehicles. An agreement for the supply of four vehicles for maintenance was signed in October 2020. The total cost of this equipment was US $866,400.
