A criminal case has been initiated on the case of receiving a shrapnel wound by Yeraskh community head Radik Rafik Oghikyan on the grounds of national, racial or religious hatred or religious fanaticism, attempted murder in a life-threatening manner.
On July 19, 2021, at around 11:30 p.m. Radik Rafik Oghikyan, head of the of Yeraskh village, Ararat province, being in the combat position of the N military unit of Armenia’s Ministry of Defense, received a shrapnel wound in the right arm during a shootout with the enemy.
A criminal case has been initiated in the 8th garrison investigative division of Armenia’s Investigation Committee on the case, according to the 6th and 13th points of the 2nd part of the 34-104th article of Armenia’s Criminal Code. The preliminary investigation of the criminal case continues.
