A total of 879 calls were registered in the Crisis Management Center of the State Service of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) on July 12-18.
Due to the sharp rise in temperature, the number of fires in Artsakh has increased. One of the 29 calls was received in a residential building, 23 in dry grassy areas, two in transport, one in a wooden wagon, two in landfills, and one in an elevator. The fire rescuers of the Rescue Forces Department of the Service responded to the calls quickly and operatively organized the firefighting works. There are no casualties.
The 911 call center received three calls about a traffic accident. Nine citizens were injured. Fortunately, there are no casualties. The health condition of the people who were taken to medical institutions with injuries is satisfactory.
One emergency was reported during the week. One of the rescuers was injured in a mine explosion during a search operation in the area under the control of Azerbaijan (southern section). The latter is receiving treatment in the central hospital. His health condition is stable.
During the week, sappers continued their search for ammunition and other explosives. Within seven days, 53 explosives, 28 rockets and 6 bombs were found and destroyed.
There were 44 man-made accidents, 47 calls to help the population. The rescuers carried out nine openings of the door, four elevators, transporting the patient, water supply and works at height.
The operative groups of the special unit of the Rapid Reaction Service continue to search for the bodies of the killed servicemen in the occupied territories of Artsakh. A total of 1604 bodies have been evacuated since the ceasefire.
