Hajj kicks off in Saudi Arabia today with tight restrictions, TASS reports. Restrictions are aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus infection.
The pilgrimage of Muslims will take place on July 17-22. For the second year in a row, citizens of other countries cannot participate in Hajj.
It is mentioned that 60 thousand pilgrims aged 18-65 can take part in the event. Citizens and residents of the Kingdom must present their vaccination certificates.
