The European Union wants to be a loyal, involved, active partner for the welfare, stability and security of Armenia. President of the European Council Charles Michel said this during the briefing with Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
“We are by your side and we once again confirm the issue of providing an unprecedented 2.6 billion Euro financial package to Armenia to support the implementation of Armenia’s priorities. We had the opportunity to talk about those priorities,” said Charles Michel.
The President of the European Council informed that he would be in Azerbaijan tomorrow and in Georgia - on Monday.
“The European Union wants to express its involvement in the region. We want to strengthen ties between the European Union and the countries of this region,” he said.
