The European Union is ready to support the work carried out within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group. The President of the European Council Charles Michel said this during the briefing with Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
Speaking about the demarcation and delimitation between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Michel expressed hope that it would be possible to start a process of negotiations and dialogue.
He also touched upon the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) status.
“It should be possible to raise the issue of status, peace talks. I am also paying attention to the issues you have raised, such as the issue of cultural heritage, which may probably be possible to resolve with the support of institutions such as UNESCO,” said Charles Michel.
