During his two-day visit to Armenia, European Council President Charles Michel visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial and paid tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims, a high-ranking European official said on his Twitter account. He wrote in particular:
“We stand by Armenia and all countries in the region to build a common and prosperous future for their populations,” Michel tweeted.
