The contacts between Armenia and the European Union have never been so intense. Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said this during a briefing with President of the European Council Charles Michel.
“Armenia’s contacts with the European Union have never been so intense, which undoubtedly testifies to the mutual commitment to develop relations. As always, our current and future plans were at the center of the discussions. From that point of view, the importance of providing the necessary conditions for the successful implementation of joint programs was especially emphasized,” Pashinyan said.
The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia informed that they also referred to the challenges that appeared in 2020, including the new type of coronavirus, and the aggressive war unleashed against Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and its consequences.
