As part of the planned combat training sessions, the servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh worked out a number of training tasks in accordance with the training program for peacekeeping units.
In the course of practical actions at the training ground, the servicemen improved the skills of bringing mortars into combat and marching position. Also, the gunners practiced the coherence and speed of the crews during firing, aiming at the target by coordinates and when changing the firing settings.
At the final stage, the servicemen performed training exercises from closed firing positions on observed and unobserved targets at various ranges.
Also, the crews of BTR-82A armored personnel carriers on the track of the tankodrome and the director of combat vehicles practiced driving over rough terrain with overcoming various obstacles and performed control firing exercises from a 7.62-mm paired PKTM machine gun for single and group targets.
Despite the round-the-clock duty of Russian peacekeepers at observation posts, the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent has planned classes in the main types of combat training.
In total, about 150 servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent were involved in combat training.
