The Government of the Republic of Armenia allocated AMD 7 billion 334 million ($14,668,000) to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs to provide AMD 68 thousand ($136) (for each) in June to citizens registered or actually residing in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), as well as to provide unpaid monthly assistance in March-May for objective reasons.
Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan responded that one of the first tasks of the Government after the hardships was to restore normal life in Artsakh as much as possible, to provide social support to the people, and to prevent a social collapse.
“We are discussing with the President and the Government of Artsakh that we must move forward with development programs, programs that encourage work, programs that promote economic activity,” he said.
Armenia’s Acting Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan informed that about 104 thousand beneficiaries are involved in the program for the fourth time.
