Three people were injured and one died as a result of a gas explosion in a hotel in Gelendzhik, Russia. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the emergency services of the Krasnodar Territory.
“Previously, as a result of a gas explosion in a hotel in Gelendzhik, four were injured, one of them was killed,” the agency's interlocutor said.
A victim was later pulled out of the rubble and is being examined by doctors. The incident took place in the kitchen of a four-story private hotel.
Rescuers evacuated about 50 people. The details of what happened are being investigated.
