Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu tweeted about his visit to the South Caucasus in June with the foreign ministers of the two other EU countries.
“This should be the beginning of the resumption of EU involvement in the region. We must take into account all the existing tools, such as deepening cooperation with the European Union and promoting confidence-building measures,” Aurescu said.
The foreign ministers of Austria, Lithuania and Romania visited Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia at the end of June on behalf of the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice President of the European Commission Josep Borrell.
