Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, in a statement with EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi, also touched upon the issue of Armenian prisoners held in Azerbaijan.
According to him, the immediate priority is the immediate return of prisoners of war (POWs) and civilians held in Azerbaijan under international humanitarian law, without preconditions.
“It is enshrined in the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020,” Mher Grigoryan said.
