EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi in a joint statement with Armenia’s Acting Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, also referred to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and said that 9-10 million Euros will be allocated for the victims of the conflict in the near future.
“I am sad that there have been victims during the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. In this context, we have mobilized 9-10 million euros of humanitarian aid. This assistance will be provided to the victims of the conflict in the near future.
The European Union is ready to play an active role in the post-conflict situation, to support confidence-building measures, first and foremost to overcome the humanitarian crisis,” Várhelyi said.
