The European Union remains an important partner for Armenia in both implementation of reforms and other areas of the reform agenda, EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi stated today during a joint statement with Armenia’s Acting Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
“I appreciate the commitment of the Government to continue these reforms. These are important reforms for Europe to see, for the people of Armenia to see. I welcome free and fair elections in Armenia. I hope that soon there will be a strong Government, a strong Parliament, a Parliamentary majority in Armenia, because we have a lot to do,” he said.
