Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has filed a new lawsuit against the leader of the opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Ermenihaber reports.
According to Turkish media reports, Erdogan is demanding 500,000 Turkish lira (about 57,586 USD) from Kılıçdaroğlu as compensation for moral damages.
The reason is that Kılıçdaroğlu made insulting remarks against Erdogan in his speech yesterday.
At the same time, the lawsuit alleges that CHP leader violated Erdogan’s personal rights.
A record number of lawsuits have been filed against Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu on behalf of Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the last decade, the vast majority of which ended in Erdogan’s favor.
