EU countries advise to maintain coronavirus restrictions in public areas, spokesman for the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) told RIA Novosti.
It is advised to avoid being crowded, no matter what percentage of the population has already been vaccinated. However, in some situations the requirements may be eased for those who have been fully vaccinated.
According to another source, the Guatemalan Government has asked Russia to return the money paid for doses of Sputnik V vaccine for not delivering the vaccine on time.
The Guatemalan government paid about $80 million for the eight million doses of the vaccine in April, but so far, the country has received only 150,000 doses.
The Russian Direct Investment Fund responded that deliveries are expected soon. The Russian side has assured that one plane delivering Sputnik V will leave for Guatemala this week and the other early next week.
