Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will leave for Antalya on June 30 at the invitation of Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Ermenihaber reports, Turkish Foreign Ministry reports.
It is noted that Lavrov and Çavuşoğlu will discuss Turkish-Russian relations, as well as a number of regional issues.
The Russian Foreign Ministry also issued a statement on the meeting, according to which the foreign ministers of the two countries will discuss the situation in the Caucasus, the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan, the Ukraine, Central Asia, the Eastern Mediterranean and the Black Sea.
The agenda of Lavrov’s visit also includes issues of intensification of trade and economic cooperation, fight against coronavirus infection, ensuring the safety of life and health of Russian citizens in Turkey, taking into account the full resumption of flights between the countries from June 22, 2021.
