From June 21 to 27, 2021, 827 calls were registered in the call centers of the central and regional subdivisions of the State Service of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). Compared to the previous week, the number of received fire calls has significantly increased in the territory of the Republic.
During the week, 29 fires were registered, most of which broke out in dry grassy areas due to the population’s carelessness. About 5 hectares of barley and wheat field burned in Martuni region.
The State Service of Emergency Situations informs that an abnormal rise in temperature is expected in the coming days. Therefore, we urge the population, at the same time, to observe the rules of fire safety, from which even a slight deviation can lead to serious consequences.
During the past 7 days, 3 calls on traffic accidents were registered at the 911 call center. Rescuers and doctors on duty at Ambulance Station CJSC carried out rescue work on time and transported the injured to medical facilities. Eleven citizens were injured. Their health condition is satisfactory.
The sapper detachments of the service carried out demining works in the regions of Artsakh last week. Seven grenade launchers, 87 cluster missiles, 2 small-caliber grenade launchers were found and neutralized.
Rescuers continue to provide assistance to the people of Artsakh. During the week, 53 domestic calls were registered, including for water supply, opening the door, elevator, transporting patients, and other technical assistance.
During the period of June 21-27, the Crisis Management Center received 6 calls about the discovery of a snake. Rescuers found the reptiles and moved them to safer areas.
The operative groups of the special emergency response unit are searching for the bodies of the killed servicemen in the territories under the control of Azerbaijan. Four bodies were found during the mentioned period. A total of 1,585 bodies were evacuated after the ceasefire.
