The process of preventive vaccination against coronavirus (COVID-19) continues in the Artsakh Republic (Nagorno-Karabakh). Vaccinations against coronavirus disease (COVID-19) are carried out in the outpatient-polyclinic department of the Republican Medical Center CJSC of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh, in the ‘Arevik’ medical association and in the regional medical associations.
The first large batch of ‘Sputnik V’ vaccine - 15,000 doses, which can vaccinate 7,500 people, was imported to Artsakh from the Russian Federation with the support of the coordinator of the Russian-Armenian Lazarus Club, Russian State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin, according to the Artsakh Ministry of Health.
Vaccinations are given on a voluntary basis, but citizens should be aware that ‘Sputnik V’ is a serious way to prevent coronavirus.
Vaccinations are given in two doses, with an interval of 21 days. Citizens are then issued a certificate of preventive vaccination against a new coronavirus infection, which states the dates of the first and second doses of the vaccine, and personal details.
