On June 19, with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, on the initiative of Teryan Cultural Center NGO, from 12:00 to 18:00 ‘The Taste and Smell of Artsakh’ festival will be held in Perch Proshyan House-Museum of Ashtarak.
The aim of the festival is to draw attention to the preservation of the vitality of the Armenian intangible cultural heritage, Artsakh cuisine, everyday life and crafts, which needs immediate protection.
The people of Artsakh displaced as a result of the war and established in Armenia’s rural and urban communities, will present the rich assortment of Artsakhi pickled vegetables.
Master classes in handicrafts, cooking, tasting and sale of dishes will be organized, as well as Syunik-Artsakh costume complexes will be displayed, ensuring the color and breath of Artsakh.
