The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has published the number of casualties during the Second Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) War. The number of killed Azerbaijani servicemen has reached 2904.
According to the Ministry, the number refers to those servicemen buried by June 14, 2021. It is also reported that 10 people are missing.
The process of searching and identifying missing servicemen continues, the statement said.
The Azerbaijani opposition regularly doubts the official data on the losses. Besides, the official figures do not mention any losses among the mercenaries involved by Baku in the Second Artsakh War.
