The State Service of Emergency Situations of Ministry of Internal affairs of Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) summed up the week.
According to it, in the period of June 7-13, 2021, 796 calls were registered at the State Service of Emergency Situations of Ministry of Internal affairs of Republic of Artsakh.
Compared to the previous week, the number of open fires in Artsakh has increased. Of the 14 calls received, 11 broke out in dry grassy areas, 2 in a residential building. One case of fire occurred due to careless use of a gas cylinder. Rescuers prevented the danger in time.
A total of 32 calls were received regarding the detection and destruction of weapons and ammunition. The service’s sapper groups, the Humanitarian Demining Center Foundation and The Halo Trust continued to conduct reconnaissance operations in the Stepanakert, Martuni, Martakert and Askeran regions last week. Six cluster bombs, 2 grenade launchers, 3 hand grenades and 3 bullet bombs were found.
One call was received about a traffic accident. Two citizens were injured. The rescuers took them to medical facilities.
There were 4 cases of snake detection during the week. The reptiles were found and moved to safer areas.
During seven days, 55 domestic calls were registered, 14 of which were about the door and 2 about the opening of the elevator. Rescuers of regional emergency departments made 17 exits to supply water to the residents of Askeran and Martakert regions.
During the week, the operative group of the special unit of rapid response carried out 4 outlets to search the settlements under the control of Azerbaijan.
Since the ceasefire, 1576 bodies of servicemen and civilians killed during the war have been found and evacuated from the territories beyond the control of Artsakh.
